Through a mixture of lectures, hands-on lean simulations and interactive exercises, participants will develop a real understanding of how lean works. Benchmarking visits to two local companies will show them exemplary lean business practices in operation.
In addition to the UK Lean Group instructors, a variety of speakers will address the class, including Toyota Executives who will share the true essence of the Toyota Production System.
The week’s learning will conclude with a final “plan on paper” exercise for lean implementation to ensure that their new lean knowledge will be ready for immediate practical application. |
